Been a hell of a hot summer this year. Really bad fire season too, granted nothing quite like CO got so far. Glad that's all over and done with, what with temperatures dropping down to more sane early-fall levels. Still chugging along at RIAMS, cranking out code and our respective projects. Was sifting through my gallery, bouncing around ideas of what I might like to post up next, but alas, my trusty old Mac Pro has given up the ghost at the ripe old age of 7. I suppose I could repurpose my PC for such tasks, but Adobe products just don't seem to handle the same in Windows. Thinking a hackintosh may be in order ... time to find some parts li

I probably should update my journal more than a few months at a time, I daresay? At any rate, was a fairly strange/interesting summer mucking about with my freelancing gigs and finding ways to spend my spare time. Got a job with a couple business associates of mine who are starting a mobile/web development and consultation firm here in Boise, and have been spending most of my waking hours with that. Keeps me absurdly busy, but it's interesting, challenging and quite rewarding work. Looking forward to expanding here in the valley and watching our little company grow. Outside of that, just enjoying the mild weather and nice climate of Boise.
